Sidney A. Slobodkin, formerly a member of Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo, P.C., concentrates his practice in estate planning, estate and trust administration and charitable and investment planning. He works with families who own businesses and advises clients about the most practical and tax-efficient ways of passing wealth from older clients to their children and grandchildren.

Sid has created funded trusts, family limited partnerships and other vehicles to conserve property, minimize taxes and provide for the needs of older clients and family members with mental or physical problems. Sid has drafted prenuptial agreements to protect family and business assets of a client who is about to be married.

Sid frequently does U.S. tax planning for non-U.S. citizens who reside in the United States and for wealthy non-resident aliens who are about to emigrate to the United States. Sid has represented individual and corporate executors and trustees and serves as a professional executor and trustee for many of his clients.

For several years Sid has been named as a Massachusetts Superlawyer and he has been included in the The Best Lawyers in America. Sid is a member of the Boston Estate Planning Council.
