Katherine A. Botelho specializes in all phases of estate and trust administration and supervises the firm’s probate department.  She has extensive experience in probate procedure, including the appointment of fiduciaries, the allowance of accounts and administration of complex estates.  An estate plan succeeds in minimizing taxes and transferring wealth to family members and other beneficiaries only if it is properly administered.  The most satisfying aspect of her work is assuring that the decedent’s goals are accomplished.

Kathy works closely with clients to value, consolidate and distribute probate and trust assets.  The goal of her practice, which also extends to guardianships and conservatorships, is to provide not only experienced legal advice but also assistance with practical matters and support during a time of change and loss.

Kathy’s interests include history, travel, Red Sox baseball and photography.  She has two children and resides in Franklin.
