Gilmore, Rees & Carlson, P.C. was established by Daniel J. Gilmore, William J. Rees, and Christopher T. Carlson, all former partners in the Trusts and Estates Department at the Boston law firm of Hale and Dorr ( now known as Wilmer Hale). The Firm was founded in 1988 with two primary objectives. First, to build a sophisticated legal practice in the metropolitan Boston area that was accessible, affordable, and convenient to clients. Second, to create an atmosphere that would enable the Firm's attorneys to foster a close and supportive relationship with their clients.
